ABOUT
OUT is a heartwarming, contemporary musical about a teenager called Sam who wants to come out to his Dad, however the weight of saying two simple words leaves Sam confused as to why he is finding it all so difficult.  One night in a haze of lights and smoke, Sam’s closet doors burst open to reveal what looks like the entrance to a club in Soho but is in fact a portal to the past.  From here Sam embarks on an epic adventure throughout time to discover a rich history or LGBTQ+ icons and their impact on today’s society.  This musical is a journey about finding yourself, understanding the importance of living authentically and discovering the true power of coming out.  As one character in the musical says… ‘you’ve kinda gotta go into the closet, to figure out how to come out of it!’.
